It is water and dustproof, shockproof, and filled with nitrogen to prevent internal lens fogging. For additional protection, the turrets are covered with screw-on caps. Furthermore, the rifle scope comes with two transparent lens caps that protect the lens surface, for example, from water during heavy rain.
