The Hornady Lock-N-Load Straight O.A.L. Gauge is a handy tool to determine the correct seating depth for a bullet. The seating depth must be properly adjusted to minimize or completely prevent the jump to the lands and grooves.
To use the Hornady Lock-N-Load Straight O.A.L. Gauge, you need a modified case. This special case must be screwed onto the gauge to perform the measurement. The modified cases are available separately in our assortment.
