Description
This Huma Avalanche Mod30-3/0 1/2 UNF moderator consists of an initial chamber with a 1/2 UNF thread, two 40mm chambers, and an end piece. Each 40mm chamber is equipped with a Delrin Avalanche insert to dampen muzzle noise. All three aluminium chambers feature a CNC-milled insert made of Pom-C polymer. These inserts have a special shape to minimize the muzzle noise generated during a shot as much as possible, and are strong enough to withstand the forces of powerful air rifles.
This modular system allows you to customize the moderator completely to your preferences. You can add or remove 40mm chambers to increase or decrease the internal volume, and determine the contents of each chamber. Each 40mm chamber is equipped with an Avalanche insert to further dampen muzzle noise. These inserts can be replaced with Huma's Kevlar-reinforced special ballistic dampening material around a mesh core of thick braided wire. The chambers can also be completely emptied to maximize the internal volume.
