Description
This Huma QD ½ UNF barrel adapter is one half of a QD system that allows you to quickly equip a barrel with a silencer. This product is part of the QDMS system, or Quick Detach Moderator System. This system consists of a barrel adapter (QDMS-B) that you mount on the thread of your barrel and a silencer adapter (QDMS-M) that you mount on the thread of the silencer. The two halves can then be assembled with a simple 1/3 turn, after which the silencer is firmly attached to the barrel.
This is the QDMS-B part with ½ UNF thread that you mount on the barrel. It is made entirely of steel and heat-treated for extra strength and wear resistance. The base has a hexagonal shape, and the manufacturer recommends tightening the Huma QD ½ UNF barrel adapter firmly with a wrench.
