FOX Silencer Tune Fiber felt is specifically tailored to fit into the FOX Silencer Tune suppressor extension. While the internal volume of the suppressor does the most in terms of sound dampening and recoil reduction, using FOX Silencer Tune Fiber felt ensures that high frequencies are filtered out more effectively. This makes the remaining sound less sharp.
Due to (lead) contamination, the dampening felt can eventually become clogged, significantly reducing its effectiveness. For this reason, it is advisable to periodically replace the FOX Silencer Tune Fiber felt.
