FX DRS MKII Tactical Standard

The FX DRS MKII Tactical Standard is the tactical offspring of the FX DRS family. It distinguishes itself with a robust aluminum handguard, featuring a full-length Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail on top. The underside has an Arca-Swiss accessory rail, also full-length. M-LOK slots are provided on the sides and bottom. Additionally, there are perfectly positioned holes for use with QD sling swivels. Another striking feature is that the FX DRS MKII Tactical Standard is equipped with a Mil-Spec buffer tube, to which an adjustable AR15-style stock is attached.

The FX DRS MKII Tactical Standard has its compressed air reservoir integrated into the barrel shroud. No more cylinder or bottle under the barrel, which has the advantage of significantly lowering the overall profile of the air rifle. This results in less hindrance in the shooting position and also ensures that transport and storage of the FX DRS MKII Tactical Standard require less space. The reservoir capacity is 260 cc.

To ensure the FX DRS fires each shot with consistent pressure, this air rifle utilizes an AMP MKII regulator. This regulator is externally adjustable, making it incredibly easy to perfectly tune the pressure to the pellet or slug being used. This provides the highest possible accuracy and guarantees ultimate shot consistency.

By removing the stock, the spring preload of the hammer spring can be adjusted. Increasing the hammer spring preload will cause the valve to remain open longer, allowing a greater amount of air to pass through. Conversely, a lower hammer spring preload results in a shorter passage period. You can experiment with this to maintain propulsive pressure behind the projectile in the barrel for as long as possible, without disruptive overpressure occurring upon exiting the barrel, which can cause imbalance.

FX is known for paying great attention to the plenum. This is the air reservoir chamber between the regulator and the valve. It stores the regulated compressed air that is fully used for one projectile. FX has chosen a 34 cc plenum as the optimal air supply.

The Superior STX barrel system features a removable liner inside the barrel that has externally pressed rifling. This gives the inside of the liner a very smooth surface and beautifully flowing rifling. All of this ensures minimal resistance and a good seal around the pellet or slug. In this MKII version, the liner can be removed and replaced without having to release the pressure from the surrounding barrel shroud.

To get the very best out of the FX DRS MKII Tactical Standard, it has been given a fully adjustable trigger. This allows you to set the trigger exactly how you want it, so the feel perfectly matches your shooting style. Both the first and second stages are adjustable, and the trigger blade can be adjusted in distance and height, and also rotated for perfect ergonomics.

A standard-mounted 30 MOA Weaver/Picatinny scope rail provides a sturdy mounting base for a wide choice of scope mounts. Because the rail is tilted forward by 30 MOA, a mounted scope will retain a larger adjustment range when shooting at longer distances.

With the magazine in place, it's simply a matter of pulling the very smooth side lever back on the right to load the FX DRS. And to replenish the air supply, there's a fill port on the right side into which you can easily insert a fill probe.

Please note: the FX DRS MKII is delivered in an average state of tuning, making it universally usable. The maximum values specified in the specifications can be achieved by utilizing the various adjustment options on the air rifle.
