This Bore Tech Shotgun Brush Adapter allows you to use all brushes and other accessories with 5/16-27 thread on your cleaning rod with a smaller 8/32 thread. The Bore Tech Brush Adapter is made from a Proof-Positive aluminum alloy, which does not shed itself, unlike many cleaning accessories with a brass alloy, which gives a much better indication of whether the barrel is clean.
