Vortex Defender-CCW Enclosed Solar Micro Red Dot

The Vortex Defender-CCW enclosed solar micro red dot is an enclosed variant of the original Defender-CCW. Its solid aluminum housing protects the red dot from precipitation, dust, and damage. The Defender-CCW is the smaller, compact version of the Vortex Defender-ST. They only vary in size and mounting system. Mounting is done with the DeltaPoint Pro mounting system. A Weaver/Picatinny adapter and a Glock MOS adapter plate are also included, so this red dot can be mounted on almost any weapon.

The red dot has three different options: a simple 3 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, or a combination of the two with the dot in the center of the circle. Thanks to the solar panel, the Vortex Defender-CCW enclosed solar micro can last between 35,000 and 150,000 hours, at the sixth brightness setting. This, of course, depends on the amount of sunlight captured.

Another feature that helps save battery life is the red dot's optional motion activation. It will automatically turn on when the weapon it's mounted on moves. This feature also ensures that the red dot turns off after ten minutes of inactivity.
