The Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 EBR-8 MOA riflescope is very suitable for long-range shooting. It features an EBR-8 illuminated reticle located on the first focal plane. This means it magnifies with the image as you turn the magnification ring. Adjusting is very precise thanks to the throw lever included separately with the riflescope. It is easy to attach or remove, depending on your preference. The riflescope has a magnification of 1 to 8x, allowing you to get nice and close to the target. The illuminated reticle has a total of eleven brightness levels. Nine of these are daylight levels, and the other two are night vision levels. These different levels ensure the reticle is always clearly visible, regardless of the ambient light conditions. The riflescope uses a CR2032 battery for its illumination.

Furthermore, the riflescope has fully multi-coated lenses that provide a very clear and sharp image. The outer lenses also feature a scratch-resistant and very hard ArmorTek coating. This makes the Vortex Strike Eagle riflescope resistant to impacts. You also don't have to worry about the zero point, because once you've set it, you lock the turrets by pushing them in. Once locked, they won't budge. The turrets are easy to adjust – once pulled out – and they have a total adjustment range of 145 MOA. This adjustment is made at ¼ MOA per click.

The Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 EBR-8 MOA riflescope has a 30 mm diameter and is entirely made of impact-resistant aluminum. It has a decent field of view of 34.6-4.3 m at 91.4 m, and the eye relief of 99 mm also contributes to a pleasant shooting experience.
