This Vortex Venom 1-6x24 AR-BDC3 MOA rifle scope features an impact-resistant, aluminum housing with a black anodized coating. This coating ensures that the scope has decent corrosion resistance. The scope is completely waterproof, shockproof, and filled with nitrogen, preventing the lenses from fogging internally. It weighs only 553 grams, meaning it will hardly add any weight to your rifle.

The Vortex Venom 1-6x24 AR-BDC3 MOA rifle scope has a minimum magnification of 1x and a maximum magnification of 6x. This makes the scope particularly suitable for aiming at targets at short distances (100 meters). The parallax is set at 91.4 meters (100 yards). It has an objective lens with a diameter of 24 mm with decent light transmission. The Venom scope features lenses made of XD (extra-low dispersion) glass, so you will not suffer from chromatic aberration when observing. This ensures the clearest and sharpest image possible. You can expect a field of view of 38 meters at 91.4 meters at minimum magnification. At maximum magnification, the scope has a field of view of 6 meters at 91.4 meters.

This Vortex Venom 1-6x24 rifle scope features an AR-BDC3 MOA reticle, located on the second focal plane. This means it will not magnify as you turn the focus ring. It is good to know that the subtensions are only accurate at maximum magnification. This reticle is also illuminated and has six brightness levels, allowing you to see it clearly in various lighting conditions. You switch between brightness levels using the turret on the left side of the tube. This turret also contains the cover for the CR2032 battery, which powers the illumination. The elevation turret and windage turret are covered with caps and have a maximum adjustment range of 140 MOA. One rotation of the turret represents 25 MOA, and they have an adjustment of ¼ MOA per click.
