The housing is made of carbon composite, which is very strong and known for its excellent corrosion resistance. This housing is encased in what is called Mitsubishi rubber armor, providing extra durability and enhanced grip. The Vanguard VEO ED 10x42 binoculars are built to withstand the elements. They are completely scratch-resistant and have an IPX7 water resistance rating. This means they are fully waterproof and can be submerged up to one meter for a maximum of 30 minutes without damage. So, even on days with less favorable weather, the Veo ED binoculars can be perfectly used for observation.

For observation, these binoculars are equipped with a standard 10x magnification, and the lenses have a diameter of 42 mm. This allows a good amount of light to pass through, ensuring excellent light transmission. The Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass reduces chromatic aberration, guaranteeing extremely sharp, color-accurate images. The binoculars have a field of view of 10.5 meters at 100 meters distance.
