Description
This BUL SAS II Tac 4.25” pistol has a very tactical look, and several well-thought-out design choices have been made to get the most out of it. The 4.25” ramped bull barrel has a completely straight, cylindrical shape and is very sturdy, making it less susceptible to vibrations. The end of the barrel that sits in the frame is ramped, which ensures 9mm cartridges from the magazine feed flawlessly into the barrel. This makes the BUL SAS II Tac an accurate pistol that can be comfortably used for various competitions.
The frame of this pistol is made of sturdy aluminum, and a short Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail is located at the bottom of the front end. This makes it very easy to mount accessories such as a light or laser on the pistol. The slide on the BUL SAS II Tac 4.25” is entirely made of steel and has good weight. This weight has been somewhat reduced by means of diagonal grooves on both sides at the front and back. On top of the slide are a rear sight and a front sight, with which you can quickly acquire your target. The slide is optics-ready, which means there is a removable plate under the rear sight. If you remove that plate, you can easily attach an adapter plate to mount a red dot on the pistol. The slide has an RMR footprint.
The BUL SAS II Tac 4.25” pistol has a slightly curved trigger with a wide, easily accessible surface. It is a single-action trigger system, and the pistol has a semi-automatic firing mode, allowing you to quickly empty the 18-round capacity magazine. The grip is made of synthetic material and fits comfortably in the hand. There is a rough texture on the entire grip for extra hold, and the wide magwell ensures your hand always stays in the correct position. You can reach the magazine release with your thumb, and the ambidextrous safety is also easy to operate. There is a grip safety under the beavertail, which ensures that you can only fire the weapon if you hold it correctly.
