Walther KK500 Pronetec

The Walther KK500 series consists of world-class rifles, of which the Pronetec is an extension. Its name already indicates its purpose: competition shooting from a prone position.

As a series, the Walther KK500 is a significant improvement on the Walther KK300 series rifles. The KK500 is designed for the best national and international shooters, down to the smallest details. This is reflected, for example, in a meticulously adjustable stock and equally adjustable cheekpiece, which can be adapted to the preferences of every shooter. The ergonomically shaped pistol grip is also adjustable in angle, height, and can be tilted and rotated.

This degree of personalization of the Walther KK500 Pronetec is also reflected in the mechanical aspects of the rifle. For instance, the trigger is fully adjustable in trigger pressure, trigger travel, and the position of the trigger blade. The trigger can also function as both single-stage and two-stage. The trigger pressure can be precisely adjusted and is settable between 50 and 130 grams.

A very ingenious feature is the ability to switch the side of the bolt without needing tools. This changes the side from which the bolt is operated, allowing it to be used by both left- and right-handed shooters. This also enables the shooter to use, for example, the other arm to load a cartridge into the weapon, thereby minimizing the effect of loading on the shooting position. This is also achieved by the very short travel of the bolt to load the weapon – requiring minimal arm and hand movement.
