Description
Description
This Element Optics RF ballistic rangefinder module must be used in conjunction with a rifle scope. It does not have an optical lens, meaning the module itself cannot be used for observation. Instead, it comes with a mounting ring, allowing you to easily mount it on a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail. The Element Optics RF rangefinder module has a 30 mm tube diameter, and you can use it with any suitable mounting ring. However, the included mount is a bit different. It features a gimbal clamp, allowing you to adjust the angle of the module. This is convenient when you want to align the rangefinder module with your rifle scope. To achieve this, it is equipped with a visible laser as well as an elevation and windage turret.
The RF (rangefinder) ballistic rangefinder module from Element Optics has a range of 1000 meters, making it suitable for long distances. You can easily connect it to the Element Ballistics app via Bluetooth. After setting the correct ballistic profile through the app, you can put your smartphone away. The rangefinder module features a ballistic chip that can perform all calculations. It can even connect to the HYPR-7 rifle scope. The module and the HYPR-7 rifle scope from Element Optics can then communicate with each other. This allows both devices to use the same data to determine the correct predicted point of impact.
This Element Optics RF rangefinder module has a sturdy, weather-resistant housing. The rangefinder is powered by an integrated CR-2 battery, which can be charged with a USB-C cable. The USB-C charging port can also be used to connect the trigger switch to the module. If you mount the rangefinder module on the Weaver/Picatinny rail on the forend of your rifle, it can be very inconvenient to activate it. With the trigger switch, you make it a lot easier by placing the button closer to one of your hands.
