Description
The Anschütz 1761 is a well-known and reliable system that is now supplied with the MS R Silhouette stock.
This beautifully shaped stock has textured surfaces on the grip and fore-end for improved hold, even in poor weather conditions. In addition, there is an aluminum UIT rail under the fore-end for mounting accessories such as a hand stop or bipod. Furthermore, the stock features a raised cheekpiece for comfortable weapon handling, and a butt plate that is adjustable in height and depth, with a rubber buttpad that partially absorbs recoil.
The receiver is very robust because its design is inspired by match rifles and it is manufactured according to strict guidelines. Moreover, the matte black finish gives the weapon a contemporary yet timeless appearance.
An advanced bolt system ensures very fast and smooth reloading, partly due to a ball bearing, a bolt throw of only 60°, and a QPQ coating, which ensures smoother operation of the entire system and simultaneously protects against wear and oxidation. In addition, the three-lug bolt contributes to a safe yet accurate carbine.
The 1761 features a two-stage trigger that is multiply adjustable to the shooter's preferences, activating a trigger mechanism consisting of more than 50 parts.
This small-caliber carbine is equipped with a High Precision Anschütz barrel, at the end of which a short Dovetail rail has been milled for the possible mounting of a front sight or other aiming devices.
The magazine can be quickly removed using the magazine release positioned in front of the trigger, making it easy to operate with the index finger. Inserting the 5-round magazine is just as simple, as it is guided by a recess in the trigger guard.
