Description
Anschutz hunting rifles are known for their accuracy, precise design, and excellent shooting experience. These rifles, manufactured in Germany since 1856, are the result of a perfect blend of a long tradition of gunsmithing and high-tech production.
The Anschutz 1780 D FL is an Anschutz bolt-action rifle with a special Monte Carlo stock. The action of the rifle operates very smoothly and is highly reliable. The 1-piece firing pin has a safety mechanism that protects against damage from dry firing. The bolt with 6 lugs (2 rows of 3) ensures secure locking and has a short and small throw.
The system is made of very strong black anodized aluminum and is tapped for mounting blocks. The system is equipped with ventilation holes to safely direct gas sideways in case of a cartridge malfunction. The ergonomically designed safety catch can be operated easily and silently.
The match trigger, widely used in Anschutz's small-bore competition rifles, is a fully adjustable 1-stage trigger. The hardened and polished trigger components, together with its light weight, ensure a crisp and fine trigger pull.
