Description
With the 687 Silver Pigeon III, Beretta combines the reliability of the low-maintenance 680 platform with a refined classic design, featuring a class 2.5 walnut stock with a high-gloss finish that enhances the wood grain and provides good protection. The 20 mm thick soft rubber MicroCore recoil pad is comfortable, shock-absorbing, and ensures good positioning.
The slender receiver, with its conical lugs that close without play, features a selector on top, allowing you to choose which barrel to fire first. Purely aesthetic, but no less beautiful, are the magnificent engravings with hunting scenes designed by Beretta's master engravers. Beretta has gone all out by also applying engravings to the top and bottom.
For a good shot pattern and reduced recoil, the cold-hammered Steelium Optima Bore HP barrels feature an 80 mm long double forcing cone. The 6x6 mm rib of this Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III features very fine checkering to prevent reflection.
