The receiver has a subtle grey colour due to a nitride treatment that makes the steel more wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant. It is also easier to clean. Elegant engravings perfectly complement the luxurious character provided by the grade 3 Turkish walnut wood.

By giving the hinge pin a substantial size, forces are distributed over a larger surface. This not only increases reliability but also reduces wear, thus ensuring a longer lifespan. By also giving the locking bolt a large surface, this crucial component has great strength and an incredibly long lifespan.

Just like its series counterparts, the Browning B725 Game features back-bored barrels, where the barrel diameter narrows over a greater length. This allows the wad to achieve more speed due to reduced friction. Also, fewer pellets are damaged, which translates into a consistent and very uniform spread.

The Invector DS choke system of the Browning B725 Game has also become a standard in the B725 series. DS stands for Double Seal, and it is this patented system with brass rings that ensures the choke threads remain clean, making changing them much easier.

Because the Browning B725 Game is specifically designed for game birds and clay pigeons, where a fair amount of heat can build up in the barrels, a ventilated 6 mm rib has been used. This is also equipped with a solid brass bead. To absorb recoil, Browning has used an Inflex II recoil pad, which directs the force of the recoil in such a way that the stock is pushed slightly away from the face, and muzzle rise is also reduced. By directing part of the recoil in this way, the total force of the recoil is reduced.
