Description
The Browning X-Bolt SF Max Varmint is designed to require little maintenance even under harsh conditions. The strong composite Max stock is maintenance-free and features a Dura-Touch coating for excellent grip. The adjustable cheekpiece allows you to perfectly adjust the rifle to the scope you are using, and the Inflex II recoil pad offers good grip and absorbs a substantial part of the recoil. You can adjust the length using a 17 mm spacer.
As the name suggests, this Browning X-Bolt SF Max Varmint is equipped with a Super Feather trigger. This play-free trigger engages well and safely, has no free travel and a minimal, very smooth movement. The semi-heavy 610 mm (24”) barrel and other metal parts of this rifle feature a subtly reflective matte bluing. The muzzle has an M18x1 thread, equipped with a thread protector.
The extra-large bolt knob can be easily operated even with gloves on, and sling swivel attachments are present under the stock and fore-end. There is also a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail under the fore-end. A third position is available on the safety, which allows the bolt to be operated while the rifle is still on safe.
