CZ 457 Varmint .22 WMR

The 457 Varmint from CZ is an excellent choice for the sport shooter and hunter due to its robust design, as well as its innovative features.

This single-shot bolt-action rifle has an American-style walnut stock with a varnish protective layer. The rubber butt pad shoulders comfortably and absorbs a significant portion of the recoil. In addition, the roughened surfaces on the fore-end and grip provide a good hold, and a rifle sling can be attached to the attachment points on the stock.

The barrel is cold hammered and has a length of 525 mm, with a 1/2x20 UNF thread at the end. This barrel, like all other metal parts, is finished with a highly durable anti-corrosion coating for an even longer lifespan of these parts.

After the rifle is cocked, an orange pin becomes visible at the rear of the bolt, which disappears again after a shot has been fired. This is the Striker Status Indicator, a useful addition for extra safety and overview.

CZ has equipped the 457 Varmint with an adjustable trigger; the standard setting is 1.2 kg and it can be adjusted from 0.8 kg to 1.5 kg. The trigger travel can also be adjusted from 0.5 mm to 5 mm. Furthermore, an 11 mm Dovetail rail is milled into the top of the action, allowing a rifle scope to be mounted.
