FX Impact M4 Sniper - Copper

The FX Impact M4 Sniper - Copper is the fourth generation of what can now be considered the most successful all-round PCP air rifle of all time. This ultra-refined and multi-adjustable air rifle has a modular base, making it suitable for virtually every shooting discipline, from benchrest to hunting and everything in between.

Compared to the previous model, the Impact M3, some radical and some subtle changes have been made to elevate the FX Impact M4 to an even higher level while improving ease of use. AMP MKIII regulator

The Dual Regulator system has been replaced by a single AMP MKIII regulator with a brass piston. This makes it stronger and more consistent, with an even higher fill rate. Additionally, this single regulator effortlessly handles higher working pressures of up to 170 bar. Please note, the working pressure is different from the fill pressure, which is 250 bar. The regulator is adjustable with a screw diagonally behind the trigger.

Top plate with dovetail

The FX Impact M4 Sniper - Copper has a modified top plate compared to its predecessor. The plate is thicker for more rigidity throughout the air rifle, and a dovetail rail has now also been added, allowing the 30 MOA Picatinny rail to be perfectly secured at any desired distance. The Picatinny rail is also a bit longer, providing even more freedom in mounting options. Due to the forward tilt of the rail by 30 MOA, the scope will maintain a larger adjustment range at very long distances.

Quick Set Trigger

The trigger is new in all aspects. Because the FX Impact M4 Sniper - Copper is such a universal platform, FX looked at what was needed to construct a trigger unit that could be adjusted to suit every style. For example, when hunting, you want a predictable long pull, while in sport shooting, the trigger should ideally be feather-light with a refined break point that breaks like glass. This can be adjusted with a single screw on the Quick Set Trigger.

Additionally, the entire trigger can be moved in distance, the first and second stages are adjustable, and the trigger blade is adjustable in height and can be rotated.

Power Plenum 750

With a regulated air supply of 75 cc, the FX Impact M4 Sniper - Copper has more than enough air ready for the valve to shoot even the heaviest slugs with sufficient power. In addition, a large plenum volume allows the regulator pressure to be set lower than would be the case with a smaller plenum.

Adjustment options

The FX Impact has always been known for its adjustability in many areas. You can fine-tune the FX Impact M4 Sniper - Copper in all aspects. We have already discussed the regulator above, but that is by no means the only adjustment you can make. The spring preload of the valve spring can be adjusted using the power knob at the front, just above the connection of the compressed air reservoir. When unscrewing the screw, indicator grooves appear, and the more grooves you see, the more air is allowed through.

On the left side of the system, the hammer spring preload is adjustable with the already famous Quick Tune system. Here, the spring preload can be adjusted via a macro wheel in 16 large steps (1.5-4.5 m/s or 5-15 fps), after which you can fine-tune the last adjustments (0.3-0.6 m/s or 1-2 fps) with a micro-adjustment wheel.

Finally, most calibers also have a Dual Hole transfer port in the barrel. This means that the barrel has two passages on either side where air is forced into the barrel. The small passage, marked with a 'P', is generally used for pellets, and by rotating the barrel 180 degrees, a wider passage for the transfer port becomes available, allowing more air (and thus more power) to pass through for heavier projectiles such as slugs.

Superior STX barrel

FX uses liners in the barrel, where the rifling and lands are pressed in from the outside. This provides a very smooth barrel surface with minimal resistance. An additional advantage is that the liners can be quickly swapped for a different caliber or ammunition type.

Adjustable shoulder rest

The shoulder rest of the FX Impact M4 Sniper - Copper is adjustable in height. This can be done steplessly by loosening a screw on the right side. This way, the perfect shooting posture is always possible for any physique. The shoulder rest features a comfortable curve with sufficient grip.

UG1 grip

To elevate comfort and feel with the weapon to an even higher level, FX has equipped the Impact M4 with a new (AR15 style) UG1 grip with more defined shapes and grip surfaces with excellent friction.

High capacity magazine

Even the magazine has been revised with new, stronger materials. The internal mechanism has been optimized so that the rotating part moves smoothly and powerfully even with the heaviest slugs.

Accessory rails

In addition to the 30 MOA Picatinny rail now mounted on a dovetail, the FX Impact M4 Sniper - Copper also features two Picatinny accessory rails on either side. There is also a Picatinny rail on the bottom, perfectly situated for mounting a bipod.

Ambidextrous cocking lever

The cocking lever with a comfortably large knob is located on the right side, but for those who prefer it on the left, the FX Impact M4 Sniper - Copper provides the option to easily move the cocking lever to the other side of the PCP air rifle.

Please note: The FX Impact M4 is delivered in an average state of tuning, making it universally usable. The maximum values specified in the specifications can be achieved by using the various adjustment options on the air rifle.
