Description
This Huma QD ½ UNF silencer adapter is one half of a QD system that allows you to quickly attach a silencer to a barrel. This product is part of the QDMS system, also known as the Quick Detach Moderator System. This system consists of a barrel adapter (QDMS-B) that you mount onto the barrel's thread and a silencer adapter (QDMS-M) that you mount onto the silencer's thread. The two halves can then be assembled with a simple 1/3 turn, after which the silencer is firmly attached to the barrel.
This is the QDMS-M part with 1/2 UNF thread that you mount onto the silencer. It is made entirely of steel and heat-treated for extra strength and wear resistance. The base has a hexagonal shape, and the manufacturer recommends tightening the Huma QD ½ UNF silencer adapter firmly with a wrench.
