Caldwell Lead Sled DFT 3 Gun Rest

The Caldwell Lead Sled DFT 3 is a rifle rest with an extremely strong and resilient construction. The frame has such great rigidity that it is strong enough for use with the heaviest calibers. The innovative frame design also features a sliding system that allows the rifle rest to be extended by up to 15 cm. This makes it possible to use the Lead Sled DFT 3 with rifles of almost all lengths.

The front gun rest can be easily adjusted in height by means of a large adjustment wheel. Lateral adjustment is also possible with a smaller knob. This front rest is made of weather-resistant rubber and provides protection for the rifle. The rifle's stock is protected by the rear gun rest. This is equipped with a shock-absorbing cushion, which also significantly reduces felt recoil. Furthermore, the height of the rear rest is adjustable by means of an adjustment wheel located directly under the rest.

For maximum stability, it is possible to place up to 45 kg of ballast on the weight platform. This sled is compatible with Lead Sled weight bags, but other forms of ballast are also possible. In addition, it is adjustable so that you can secure the ballast firmly. The result is a recoil reduction of up to 95%, maximizing shot accuracy.
