Caldwell Lead Sled Max Gun Rest

The Caldwell Lead Sled Max rifle rest is a versatile shooting rest suitable for firearms of virtually all lengths and calibers. It features a removable weight reservoir with a capacity of 7.5 liters. The reservoir can be filled with various materials, such as water or sand. Depending on the material used, the reservoir can hold approximately 7 kg to 11 kg of ballast. This absorbs a significant portion of the recoil from even the heaviest calibers. Additionally, the ballast provides extra stability to the rest.

The front weapon rest is adjustable in height and has a tilting clamp. The rear weapon rest is equipped with a shock-absorbing cushion to protect the rifle and minimize recoil. This rest is also height-adjustable via an adjustment wheel. Furthermore, an adjustment wheel is located at the back to allow lateral adjustment of the rear support.

The frame is length-adjustable using a sliding mechanism, so both short and very long rifles can be used with the weapon rest. In addition, the construction can be compactly folded, making it easy to store and transport.

Due to the versatile design of the Lead Sled Max, it can be used in three ways:

• With ballast
• Without ballast
• As a front rest only (the rear part can be detached)
