Hatsan Galatian 5 Auto

The Hatsan Galatian 5 Auto is a wonderfully solid and no-nonsense semi-automatic PCP air rifle. Semi-automatic means that after the first shot, it automatically reloads, so only the trigger needs to be pulled for the next shot. Not only does this allow for rapid firing, but it also has the advantage of allowing you to maintain the correct shooting posture, which naturally greatly influences shot consistency. It features a stylish wooden stock made from beautifully finished, high-quality Turkish walnut. Detachable open sights (rear and front sight) with highly visible optical TruGlo fibers are mounted, but if desired, a rifle scope or red dot can also be fitted. To keep the choice pleasantly wide, Hatsan has equipped the Galatian 5 Auto with both an 11 mm dovetail rail and a Weaver/Picatinny rail. A short Weaver/Picatinny rail is located under the fore-end for mounting a bipod. The barrel of this Hatsan Galatian 5 Auto has a choke at the end, and what this constriction does is slightly compress the pellet so that all pellets leave the barrel with the same diameter. This increases uniformity and thus adds extra accuracy. A barrel shroud surrounds the barrel, dampening some of the sound. The aluminum compressed air reservoir is removable, making it easy to swap out to save time. A built-in manometer accurately displays the pressure in the reservoir, and the fill port is equipped with a rotating protective cap that keeps out dirt and dust.
