The ELD Match (Extremely Low Drag) bullets of the Hornady .308 Win ELD Match 168 grain cartridges feature AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Process) jackets that guarantee near-perfect roundness and a Heat Shield tip. Where a polymer tip can deform due to the heat of air resistance friction, the Heat Shield tip maintains its shape, preserving the ballistic coefficient of .523 (G1) and .263 (G7). ELD Match bullets are considered extremely accurate and consistent.
