Description
This Goatguns RPK Black miniature is a 1:3 scale model. The mechanisms of the miniature function just like the real weapon, including charging with dummy rounds.
The design is based on the real RPK-16, a Russian LMG (Light Machine Gun) designed as a replacement for the older RPK-74 LMG. The RPK-16 is based on the AK-12 platform, sharing many similar and identical parts. A 95-round drum magazine was developed to give the RPK-16 greater potential for sustained fire, unlike the 45-round magazine of its predecessor.
The entire model is a die-cast metal construction. The magazine and pistol grip are made of plastic, just like the real RPK. Thanks to the use of durable material, it forms a solid unit that feels sturdy and realistic. The Weaver/Picatinny mounting rails on the miniature are compatible with Goatguns Picatinny AR accessories, allowing the RPK to be customized.
The Goatguns RPK Black miniature is packaged in several loose parts, which can be assembled using the included instructions. The included dummy rounds can be loaded into the magazine, which can then be placed into the miniature. Charging is also possible with these dummy rounds, which are then ejected upon repeated charging. The stock is adjustable and foldable.
