Torque Screwdriver Wheeler FAT Wrench AutoTorque

The Wheeler FAT Wrench AutoTorque is a battery-powered electric torque screwdriver for use in gunsmithing. It is specially designed for the precise mounting of sights, bases, and action screws, while preventing over-tightening of screws by means of the built-in torque limiter.

Thanks to the integrated torque limiter, the motor automatically switches off once the preset torque is reached. This allows screws to be tightened precisely, without being too tight or too loose. This is important to prevent damage to the firearm. The torque is adjustable between 10 to 65 inch-pounds (1.13 Nm to 7.34 Nm) in precise steps of 0.1 inch-pounds (0.01 Nm), which can be easily read on the LCD screen.

The screwdriver features a removable 12V lithium-ion battery that is charged via USB-C. LED lights indicate the battery status. A full battery provides about two hours of uninterrupted use. The variable speed up to 200 RPM is accurately controlled with an ergonomic trigger. Four LED lights on the head illuminate the work area, which is ideal for working in low light conditions.

The Wheeler FAT Wrench AutoTorque torque screwdriver also includes a 15-piece bit set (1/4”) with a black phosphate coating. These fit most common screws on modern firearms. The torque screwdriver and components are supplied in a sturdy storage case, which is stackable with other Wheeler cases for compact and convenient storage.
