Description
This Wheeler 25.4 mm Low Picatinny mount is suitable for mounting on Weaver/Picatinny rails. The bolt used to clamp the mounts also functions as a stop pin to prevent shifting due to recoil.
Made of high-quality aluminum, the Wheeler 25.4 mm Low Picatinny mount is lightweight, and because the contact surfaces of the two halves are diagonally oriented, the flanges could be kept narrow with six Torx bolts, also creating space for the fold-out spirit level.
The spirit level is a handy tool to keep the reticle and thus the rifle truly level, which is particularly important for accuracy over long distances.
