HikMicro Cheetah LRF Clip-On 940 nm IR Night Vision Scope

This HikMicro Cheetah LRF Clip-On 940 nm IR night vision scope can be used in three ways. It can be used as a monocular for spotting game by hand. But by removing the eyepiece, it can also be used as a clip-on scope to turn a standard riflescope into a night vision riflescope. By using a 940 nm infrared lamp, the IR light is less visible to game.

With the eyepiece mounted, a reticle option also becomes available, allowing the night vision scope to be used as a riflescope. Sighting in is incredibly fast: aim, shoot, and aim again, using the zoom & freeze function. By moving the reticle to the point of impact in this function, the Cheetah is sighted in.

The versatility of the HikMicro Cheetah LRF Clip-On 940 nm IR night vision scope is very broad, and its ease of use is particularly striking. It can be used at any time of day through four modes:

• Day
• Night
• Auto
• Fog

That last mode, in particular, is remarkable. HikMicro has managed to bring infrared detection in foggy conditions to a very high level with its own optical solution. The detection range of the 2560x1440 UHD sensor is 350 meters, aided by the internal 940 nm infrared lamp. This produces a beautifully detailed image with a 25 Hz framerate on the 1920x1080 OLED display.

The built-in laser rangefinder is extremely useful. With a 905 nm laser, the distance can be determined at the push of a button, from a minimum distance of ten meters to a maximum of one kilometer with an accuracy of 4%.

The HikMicro Cheetah LRF Clip-On 940 nm IR night vision scope has a rechargeable battery, and thanks to the USB-C connection, it can also be powered by an external power source. It can also record image (photo and video) and sound, using 64 GB of internal memory. It even supports recoil activation, where the recoil of the rifle activates a recording.
