Unlike traditional patch jags, Bore Tech's Proof-Positive eyelet patch jags are not made of brass, ensuring that the jag itself does not stain the cleaning patch or mop, which is often the case with traditional brass patch jags. This results in a more reliable outcome.
Cleaning patches are either pierced centrally on the tip or, for greater coverage, wrapped around the jag's knurled section.
This jag has 5/40" male threading for .17-.20 caliber. All other calibers have 8/32" male threading.
