Description
The Vortex Venom enclosed micro red dot is a robust and lightweight sight, suitable for pistols and rifles. The aluminum housing protects the red dot from precipitation, dust, and damage. Despite its sturdiness, the Vortex Venom weighs a mere fifty grams. With this minimal added weight, the balance and overall weight of the weapon remain almost unchanged. Vortex uses the DeltaPoint Pro mounting system for the Venom enclosed micro red dot.
The 20,000-hour battery life is partly due to the Vortex Venom's motion activation function. This works in combination with the ability to automatically switch off after ten minutes of inactivity. If the red dot then moves, it turns back on. The battery of the Vortex Venom enclosed micro red dot can be replaced while mounted. This means re-zeroing is not necessary.
