This Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56 EBR-7C riflescope is extremely suitable for long distances and offers both quality and features that actually belong in a higher price range.
The fully multi-coated XD (extra-low dispersion) lenses provide a very bright and sharp image. The outer lenses are also equipped with a hard, scratch-resistant ArmorTek coating. The glass-etched EBR-7C illuminated reticle is in the first focal plane, which means it magnifies with zooming in, keeping all subtension lines and floating dots for windage compensation in proportion to the target, making the reticle perfectly suitable for estimating distance, elevation, and wind compensation.
Both turrets of the Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56 EBR-7C riflescope are 'locking' turrets, meaning they can only be adjusted when pulled out. This prevents unintentional adjustment during transport. The elevation turret also has a RevStop Zero System, or a hard stop. Adjustment is made at 0.1 MRAD per click and 10 MRAD per full rotation. For elevation adjustment, there is a range of 31 MRAD, and for windage adjustment, it is 23 MRAD. Parallax can be adjusted from 14 meters (15 yards) to infinity via side adjustment.
To quickly adjust the magnification, the Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56 EBR-7C riflescope uses a convenient throw lever. The riflescope is filled with nitrogen, so it cannot fog up internally. Of course, it is also waterproof and shockproof. The eyepiece is equipped with quick adjustment.
