Description
The Ruger GP100 Model 1704 is a classic double-action revolver in .357 Magnum caliber. To properly fire such ammunition, the GP100 is heavily built. The frame is crafted from a single piece of steel to make the entire assembly as solid as possible. The weight of the frame helps absorb recoil. The long barrel has a similar effect, as its weight reduces muzzle rise after a shot.
A black rubber grip provides good handling of the weapon, while also absorbing some of the shock of the shot. The cylinder swings out to the side and is held securely in place by three latches. This cylinder can hold six rounds.
