Sig Sauer P226 X-Five Stainless Custom Works

This Sig Sauer Custom Works P226 X-Five Stainless is a particularly accurate firearm with a semi-automatic firing mode and a single-action trigger system. This is due to its 5" bull barrel. Bull barrels are thicker, completely straight barrels, which, due to their construction, are less susceptible to vibrations. This makes them much more accurate than regular barrels.

The steel slide has a front sight with green optical fiber and a removable rear sight. By removing the rear sight from the Optics-Ready slide, space can be created for a red dot with a PRO footprint. Since this handgun features a single-action trigger system, the hammer spring will need to be manually pre-cocked for each first shot. Therefore, there are mild, diagonal grooves on both sides of the slide, which provide a bit more grip for pulling the slide back. The trigger is fully adjustable and operates very smoothly.

The Sig Sauer Custom Works P226 X-Five Stainless has a stainless steel frame with a Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail on the underside of the fore-end. This allows the handgun to be easily fitted with an accessory, such as a light or a laser. The front of the grip has a rough, ribbed texture. The grip is fitted on both sides with Cocobolo wood grip panels, which also have a rough texture. This allows the Sig Sauer P226 X-Five to be held very firmly yet comfortably.
