The H&N 4.51 mm (.1775) 16 grain HP slug is an airgun pellet that differs greatly from standard pellets due to its specific shape. These slugs are designed for powerful airguns that are very accurate at long distances of, for example, 50, 100, or even 200 meters.
These 4.51 mm (.1775) 16 grain HP slugs from H&N offer a favorable ballistic coefficient due to their aerodynamic shape, which ensures a flat trajectory and excellent retention of kinetic energy. The muzzle energy of the airguns used must be at least 16 joules, while 30 joules is recommended for best results. Please note that slugs perform best in barrels specifically designed for use with slugs.
