These 40 grain Heavy Slugs from H&N in 5.5 mm (.217) caliber are designed for long-range shots and suitable for powerful airguns with a minimum power of 25 joules (18.5 ft.lb).
By manufacturing the Heavy Slug from soft lead and providing it with a special shape and ample meplat, H&N has found the perfect balance between accuracy and expansion for powerful air rifles. The large hollow point ensures that the slug expands rapidly, thereby generating an extreme amount of stopping power.
