Description
This Nielsen .45 240 grain hollow point slug with dish base is recommended for .45 PCP air rifles and is recommended by Nielsen as the very best slug for the Airforce Texan SS.
Because the Nielsen .45 240 grain is cold pressed and not cast, softer lead can be used, causing the slug to conform better to the rifling, seal better in the barrel, and expand faster upon impact. This production method also results in extremely consistent slugs, both in weight and shape. The Nielsen Specialty Ammo (NSA) slugs are perfectly round, and their weight is therefore exactly distributed relative to the lateral centerline.
