Description
Nielsen 5.5 mm 31.2 grain (.218) slugs are cold-pressed from soft lead. This process ensures very uniform slugs, which translates to extreme precision. The soft lead, combined with the hollow point, also provides rapid expansion upon impact. Nielsen 5.5 mm 31.2 grain (.218) dish base slugs can be used in very powerful 5.5 mm air rifles. They have more mass and better aerodynamics than pellets, so they perform significantly better at long distances. Ballistic coefficient: 0.090.
