Description
Nielsen 5.5 mm 28.5 grain (.217) slugs are cold-pressed from soft lead. This process ensures very uniform slugs, which translates to extreme precision. The soft lead, in combination with the hollow point, also provides rapid expansion upon impact.
Nielsen 5.5 mm 28.5 grain (.217) dish base slugs can be used in very powerful 5.5 mm air rifles. They have more mass and better aerodynamics than pellets, so they perform significantly better at long distances. Ballistic coefficient: 0.090.
Please note: not suitable for use in FX Smooth Twist barrels, but they are suitable for the FX Smooth Twist X slug liner.
