These Nielsen 6.35 mm HPDB 34.9 grain (.250) slugs are cold forged from soft lead. By essentially pressing them rather than casting them, a much better consistency is achieved. Not only in the composition of the slug itself but also in the uniformity of the slugs among themselves. It is this consistency that makes Nielsen slugs extremely accurate.
