These Nielsen 6.35 mm HPFB 43.5 grain (.250) slugs are cold forged from soft lead. By pressing rather than casting them, a much better consistency is achieved. Not only in the composition of the slug itself, but also in the uniformity of the slugs among themselves. It is this consistency that makes Nielsen slugs extremely accurate.
The soft lead composition and hollow point ensure rapid expansion of the Nielsen 6.35 mm HPFB 43.5 grain (.250) slugs. Additionally, they have a ballistic coefficient of 0.110.
