These ZAN Projectiles 5.5 mm HP 22 grain (.219) slugs are of excellent quality and guarantee consistency. ZAN Projectiles slugs are made of soft lead and are cold-pressed instead of cast. This makes them extremely uniform in density and shape, which naturally benefits accuracy. The soft lead also ensures that the 5.5 mm HP (Hollow Point) 22 grain (.219) slugs from ZAN Projectiles conform extremely well to the rifling of the barrel. This allows the slugs to achieve higher velocities and maintain a nice flat trajectory. These hollow point slugs expand rapidly upon impact, ensuring excellent energy transfer.
