ZAN Projectiles 6.35 mm HP 28 grain (.250) slugs are pressed, not cast. This has the advantage of making them extremely uniform in density and shape, which greatly improves accuracy.
Because the slugs are made of very soft lead, they conform very well to the rifling of the barrel, resulting in less air loss and thus higher velocities. The soft composition also provides lightning-fast and significant expansion upon impact.
These ZAN Projectiles 6.35 mm HP 28 grain (.250) slugs have a length of 7.6 mm (0.30”) and are individually packaged to prevent damage during transport.
