These ZAN Projectiles ELR Hyper Line 5.5mm 40.7 grain (.218) slugs are very high-quality projectiles designed for powerful air rifles. They are produced using a special process where the lead is pressed into a mold. This results in great uniformity in shape and density. The high uniform density of these Extreme Long Distance (ELR) slugs and their high ballistic coefficient ensure optimal performance at longer distances.

Thanks to the innovative anti-friction coating, these projectiles gain several very interesting and beneficial properties. First, the coating reduces resistance in the barrel when fired, allowing the slugs to achieve higher velocity. Additionally, thanks to the special coating, there is hardly any lead fouling in the barrel. This leads to higher shot consistency. Furthermore, the striking yellow color of the coating makes the projectile's trajectory more visible during flight. This allows follow-up shots to be corrected more quickly based on, for example, wind influence.
