Birchwood Moly Lube dry film lubricant is a lubricant intended for metal surfaces. Using a rapidly evaporating liquid, molybdenum disulfide is applied with this spray. This substance creates a lubricating layer without leaving any liquid on a surface.
This has several advantages. Firstly, the dry lubricant spray prevents dirt, gunpowder, and other particles from getting stuck and caked in gun grease or oil. It also cannot freeze, evaporate, or thin due to large temperature differences, making it very reliable. This keeps the friction between parts low and the weapon functional, regardless of the conditions.
