Description
Description
The Caldwell VelociRadar speed meter offers exactly what professional (long-range) shooters are looking for; pure and consistent speed measurements. Unlike speed meters that use Doppler radar, the VelociRadar uses Chirp radar technology. Doppler works by transmitting radio waves in very short pulses, while Chirp works by pulse compression. This means that the Chirp radar transmits different frequencies in one pulse, which also means it receives a stack of echoes. This provides a much clearer speed image, allowing you to measure the purest results with the Caldwell VelociRadar speed meter. In addition, it can calculate the speed and ballistic coefficient across the entire shooting range. It even calculates muzzle velocity with an accuracy of 0.1%.
