Steyr MS Wild - Green

The Steyr MS Wild – Green is a robust rifle that remains lightweight thanks to its synthetic stock. The cold-hammer-forged barrel and action are a single unit, which enhances the weapon's precision.

A striking feature is the synthetic stock, which has a green color with black accents. Thanks to the choice of synthetic material, it is a lightweight rifle (3.3 kg), making it suitable for carrying for extended periods. The stock offers several adjustment options. The length of pull itself can be adjusted with spacers, while the cheekpiece is height-adjustable with a push button on the stock. This allows the weapon to be adapted to the individual shooter. The forend is also equipped with a Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail for a bipod, with two recessed attachment points behind it where mounting rails can be screwed on.

A high degree of precision is achieved by the cold-hammer-forged barrel and action. Because they are a single unit, the transition between the chamber and barrel is seamless, maximizing precision and making the action as smooth as possible. Cold forging also benefits the durability of the barrel, ensuring that the Steyr MS Wild – Green lasts a very long time. The trigger has a pull weight of 700 grams and is horizontally adjustable, so it can be adapted to the shooter's hand size and grip. A Weaver/Picatinny mounting rail on top provides space for a scope.

The safety catch of the MS Wild has two positions: safe and fire. An interesting feature is the automatic locking of the bolt, which prevents the bolt from being cocked when the weapon is on safe. This prevents the bolt from accidentally snagging on something and possibly opening. By pressing a small lever just behind the bolt, it can still be lifted and pulled back. This allows the weapon to be unloaded in the safe position.
