Ulfhednar Tripod with Arca-style Ball Head 20 kg

This Ulfhednar Arca-style tripod with ball head has a maximum load capacity of 20 kg. Thanks to the use of retractable carbon fiber legs, it remains compact and relatively light.

Despite its light weight, this tripod can extend to a height of 180 cm. This means it can also be used standing up, even on sloping ground. Each leg is individually adjustable in angle, with three different positions. The length of each individual leg can be precisely adjusted using three clamp rings. The central column, topped with the ball head featuring an Arca-Swiss mounting point, can be adjusted in height. A hook is located at the bottom of the central column. This hook can be used, for example, to hang extra weight on the tripod to enhance stability.

These adjustment possibilities offer great flexibility to the user, which is further enhanced by the upper section. The smoothly rotating ball head allows for full 360-degree rotations. It can also tilt in all directions using the ball joint. A recess has also been made in the joint, allowing tilts of up to 90 degrees. This allows for aiming directly up and down with a spotting scope, camera, or rifle. A horizontal and a vertical spirit level on the Arca-Swiss mounting base always indicate the exact orientation.

By unscrewing the ball joint and one leg, an adjustable monopod can be assembled from these two parts, offering further flexibility. It is also possible to attach the ball head directly to the tripod, without the central column. This allows the tripod to be reduced to a minimum height of just 25 cm – very useful when shooting from a prone position.
