The Vector Optics Tauron 5-50x60 VCO-5 MIL rifle scope offers a high degree of precision, thanks to its meticulous adjustability. A fine reticle with a central aiming point of 0.05 MRAD further contributes to the accuracy this scope provides.

This scope is equipped with fully multi-coated HD lenses. Due to the large 60mm objective lens, HD glass, and coatings, the light transmission is 92%. This ensures a sharp and clear image even at higher magnifications. It can be focused by rotating the ocular, after which parallax can be adjusted with the turret on the left side.

Thanks to its extensive adjustability, this scope is ideally suited for benchrest shooting, F-Class, and Field Target. The VCO-5 reticle is located in the second focal plane, meaning it does not magnify when the magnification is adjusted. This keeps the reticle always sharp, with fine lines that do not obscure the target.

The reticle uses an MRAD scale, with subtensions of 0.25 MRAD. With these subtensions as a reference point, adjustments to the aiming point can be made quickly. At 40x magnification, the subtensions are accurate and can be used to estimate distances or dimensions. To improve visibility, the central 0.05 MRAD dot can be illuminated in six settings. An empty space around the dot ensures that the target remains clearly visible.

Adjusting the Vector Optics Tauron 5-50x60 VCO-5 MIL rifle scope can be done with the turrets. These turrets can be adjusted in fine steps of 0.05 MRAD. Each step provides an audible and tactile click, so adjustments are always clearly perceptible. When the scope is sighted in, the turrets can be reset to zero, with the zero stop helping to effortlessly find this zero setting again.

The rifle scope is filled with nitrogen, preventing the lenses from fogging internally during temperature differences. It is also weather-resistant, with a dustproof housing that can withstand immersion in water.
